Jess White is a licensed practical nurse, entrepreneur, and nationally recognized healthcare workforce consultant with more than 25 years of experience spanning frontline care, clinical leadership, and executive decision-making.
Her career is defined by a rare and comprehensive perspective—having worked as a CNA, nurse, and CEO. This lived experience allows her to understand the realities of healthcare from every angle: the emotional and physical demands placed on staff, the operational and regulatory pressures faced by leadership, and the real consequences of system breakdowns on patient care.
As the founder of Vision Staffing LLC, Jess built and scaled a multi-million-dollar healthcare staffing agency serving facilities across multiple states. Through that work, she identified a critical truth: staffing shortages are often not the root problem—retention, burnout, and communication breakdowns are.
Today, Jess focuses on helping healthcare organizations stabilize their workforce through her ICARE Workforce Retention Intensive™, a structured system designed to reduce burnout, improve communication, and bridge the gap between leadership and staff.
Her approach is practical, experience-driven, and results-focused—combining real-world healthcare insight with structured leadership and culture alignment strategies.
Jess has also experienced the healthcare system from the patient perspective, including receiving care in short-staffed environments. She witnessed the impact of workforce strain during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the closure of facilities, further reinforcing her commitment to improving the sustainability of healthcare teams.
