Recovery isn't only about drugs and alcohol.
People recover from grief. Divorce. Financial loss. Losing homes. Losing businesses. Incarceration. Unemployment. Trauma. Burnout. Illness. Family breakdown. Addiction. Failure. Major life changes.
And sometimes recovery isn't about getting your old life back.
It's about building a new one.
Community Recovery & Rebuilding Day will bring residents, businesses, artists, educators, community organizations and resource providers together for a day centered around one question:
WHAT CAN WE BUILD TOGETHER?
We're asking every participating business:
“What can you offer someone who is rebuilding?”
Maybe it's:
Employment opportunities, Job interviews, Apprenticeships, Mentorship, Training, Financial education, Professional services, Discounts, Volunteer opportunities, Housing connections, Transportation, Childcare resources, Education, Wellness resources
Or simply encouragement and human connection
Your business doesn't have to solve everything.
Just bring something to the table.
Not every contribution needs to be cash.
Businesses may apply to provide approved goods or services that directly reduce the cost of producing the event.
